The Pinche Gringo Story

Pinche Gringo started as a nickname.

Years ago, I worked with a Mexican buddy who called me “Pinche Gringo” pretty much every day. If I screwed something up: “Pinche Gringo.” If I said something stupid: “Pinche Gringo.” Eventually, everyone at work started calling me that.

One day I joked that it belonged on a T-shirt. So I made one.

People kept asking where they could get it, I kept making more, and somewhere along the way the joke turned into a brand.

Today, Pinche Gringo makes shirts about the things we actually spend our weekends doing, fishing, hunting, grilling, drinking, and generally screwing around with our friends.

Turns out my buddy gave me a pretty good nickname.
